How to Change Your Spotify Premium Plan

How to change a plan billed by Spotify
Use the account page in a browser and confirm you are signed into the account that pays for Premium.
- Open spotify.com/account and sign in.
- Choose Manage your plan or Change plan.
- Review the plans available in your country.
- Select the new plan and read the price and effective-date confirmation before accepting.
What stays on your account
Changing plans does not require a new Spotify account. Spotify says playlists, saved music and settings remain.
Downloaded music may need to be downloaded again if the account temporarily moves to Free or a device is removed.
When the new plan starts
Some upgrades can take effect immediately, while a move to a cheaper plan may begin at the next billing date. The confirmation screen and account page are the authority for your particular change.
Do not assume you will receive a prorated refund. Check the amount and next payment date before confirming.
If a partner manages the subscription
A phone, internet or other partner may control the subscription. Spotify can direct you to that provider when normal plan controls are unavailable.
Family and Duo members cannot change the manager’s plan; only the plan manager controls the subscription.
