Updating the app and checking another version of the song can separate an app problem from missing catalogue data.
What to do when lyrics are wrong or out of sync
Use Spotify’s in-app reporting option when available. Note the exact track and album version because remasters, live recordings and clean edits have different timing.
Restarting playback can fix a temporary sync issue, but inaccurate source text needs a provider correction.
